Module 4 of 5
By the end of this module you will have written a present-tense description of your healed self and answered two questions from your future self.
Get the Healed Self Daily Protocol
Five to ten minutes a day. A present-tense description of who you already are, and two questions you ask that person.
What this module covers
You are already healthy. That may get a laugh out of you if you just got a lab report saying otherwise — but the fact that you are still here, still looking for something better, says everything about your identity. Your physical reality has not caught up yet. Identity drives behavior, not the other way around.
This module is about closing that gap without blowing up your life to do it. It opens with the parable of the wheat and the weeds: you do not rip out the old in one dramatic moment of frustration. You let the new grow alongside it until the old has less room.
Then the part most health content pretends does not exist — what happens when two things you value collide. A coaching client whose numbers were improving beautifully until she hit the family meal, valuing both her health and sitting down with her family, and the two colliding every night. What she found was not compromise. It was the realization that alignment is not everyone eating the same thing. You can share a meal when the plates look different, because the meal was never the point. The connection was.
The module closes with visualization, explained without mysticism — the way you suddenly see a car everywhere once you have decided you want it — and with the idea that the wiser version of you is not out in the future waiting to be earned. It is already available.
Three takeaways
- Identity drives behavior. Which is why asking who that person is and what they do beats willpower every time.
- Alignment comes out of identity, not uniformity. You do not have to choose between your health and your people.
- Your future self already knows. Perspective, not motivation, is the thing that actually unlocks the next step.
Doing this with someone
The worksheet is yours to keep and it works on its own. If you want a second set of eyes on it — this one has to be personalized or it feels like woo, and personalizing it is the whole job — that is what the coaching is for. See how coaching works.
